Accepting Evangelicals

Courage is a UK-based, not for profit, evangelical Christian ministry, founded in 1988 for gay and lesbian Christians who are seeking a safe place of friendship in which to reconcile their faith and sexuality and grow towards Christian maturity

Evangelical Fellowship
The Evangelical Fellowship for Lesbian and Gay Christians (EFLGC), formed in 1979, is a group of women and men, most of whom are lesbian, gay or bisexual and come from an evangelical Christian background.

Ekklesia is a think tank and news service bringing theology and Christian news into politics and public life.

Love is an Orientation (Andrew Marin's blog)
Andrew Marin (@Andrew_Marin and is the President and Founder of The Marin Foundation (, a non-profit organization that works to build bridges between the LGBT community and the Church through biblical and social education, scientific research and diverse community gatherings. Their unique approach strategically partners with both religious and LGBT organizations to make a sustainable difference in today’s religious and secular cultures. The Marin Foundation is also conducting the largest national scientific research study ever done in the LGBT community regarding spirituality and religion.

Beyond Ex-Gay
Created by Peterson Toscano & Christine Bakke, Beyond Ex-Gay is an on-line community and resource for those who have survived ex-gay experiences. So often healing comes through community and through sharing our stories and experiences with each other.

The Revd Ruairidh Macrae formed a new Courage group meeting in Glasgow, early in 2007, then under the name "Disciple Scotland". This website for Courage Scotland gives further information about what is happening.
